PhotoCraft Development Update: Drag & Drop, Stability Improvements, and Image-to-image

Last weekend, apart from working on this website, I was able to add more functionality to the PhotoCraft App. First of all, I was able to add drag and drop functionality to PhotoCraft. This makes it possible to drag and drop an generated image to another app, like for example Affinity Photo or Keynote. In addition, it’s possible to drag and drop an image into the PhotoCraft app. This makes it easier to use the second addition of this weekend: stable diffusion image-to-image (img2img) generation. Image to image makes it possible to generate an image based on an input image but also taking into account the input from the text prompt. Because image-to-image generation also needs a strength value indicating how much influence the start image has, I also added a slider for that. Last, I improved the stability a bit and also improved reporting of the model status to the UI. At the moment, all the functionality is still a little rough around the edges; I will be refining it later this week.

By the way, don’t worry if the terms posted here do not make any sense to you yet. I will soon add some posts explaining the different stable diffusion concepts. Hope to see you back again soon!
